Mom’s Tweed Jacket

Hello loves, it’s been a very cold and wet week in Sydney, but good to know Spring is around the corner!

I always love to style a good vintage piece with something modern to give the look a bit more life and spirit. Lucky for me, my mum has a big(ger) wardrobe (of coz!) where I always peek into and borrow garments from.

The trick is —- to pick something that either looks like current trends or is a class piece. That is if you don’t want to look too dramatic or feel like wearing a costume. If you do, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it either.

Here I borrowed my mom’s gorgeous fuchsia color tweed jack (a classic) and paired with my go to split skirt and a pair of burgundy pumps. To finish the look, I wrapped myself in a wool blanket scarf to add extra warmth.

Stay chic loves xx.
