A couple of weeks ago, I attended a media lunch at Guillaume to welcome Mr Maurice-Richard Hennessy, the Global Ambassador and eighth generation of the prestigious Hennessy distillery in France.
It was such a privilege to indulge in a Hennessy cognac tasting including Hennessy XO and Hennessy Paradis Impérial over a three course meal prepared by celebrity Chef Guillaume Brahimi. Each meal was prepared to complement the richness of the cognacs.
Mr Maurice-Richard Hennessy guided us through the lunch and tasting, he spoke proudly about the brand, its refined marques and the history of the almost 250-year old spirit.
I am relatively new to this timeless cognac and was so very honoured to be educated in the best way possible.
