Trench x Sac de Jour for Walhol-Weiwei

Forever Bicycles 2015 – Ai Weiwei

Forever Bicycles 2015 is a major new installation designed specifically for the NGV, and composed from over 1500 bicycles, which for Ai, symbolise the freedom to move.

Happy Friday Eve everyone!

I took a quick day trip to Melbourne early this week to visit NGV’s summer exhibition (finishes this weekend): Andy Warhol — Ai Weiwei and catch up with some dear friends.

A brief change of the scenery is crucial to me, it allows me to take a little break/escape from my daily routine and I often find it’s so refreshing. Especially the Warhol – Weiwei exhibition gave me so much inspiration to take in and process. I was truly grateful.

Although I checked the forecast to be 29 degree, I still brought my trusty trench just in case. And together with ballet flats, faux leather pants, a simple white top and a structured bag, that was my go to look for the day trip. So easy to get around in and very classy for the gallery occasion and the city herself.

I always find myself gravitate towards structured bags. In my opinion, they can add an instant polish to any look. The holy grail structured bag of course goes to the Hermes Kelly! But before I can afford her, this beautiful sac de jour bag by Saint Laurent Paris is such a chic, classy, modern yet timeless piece to my structured bag collection.

Stay chic ladies xx!
